Thank you for your interest in auditioning for Shrek the Musical. We are very excited to have the opportunity to bring this amazing show to life in North Bend, Oregon. Our entire production team is committed to making it an experience that cast, crew and audiences won’t soon forget.
We want this to be an outstanding audition experience for new and seasoned actors alike. Please pay attention to the requirements and expectations set forth in this packet. If you are under 18 years of age your parent or guardian must read and sign your completed audition form. If you do not audition you cannot be considered for a role.
Audition dates are January 5-6, 2018 at 6pm. Please come prepared to sing 16-32 bars (no longer than 30 seconds) a capella, and cold readings from the script. Shrek the Musical is an extremely character driven show, featuring many of the fairytale creatures that we all know and love. If you are auditioning for a fairytale creature please develop a character voice to share at auditions. The 5th and 6th should be enough time to audition everyone and the 7th will be used for callbacks.
